Objectives
  • Learner will be able to explain the concept of immunosenescence and its implications for healthspan. Participants should be able to describe how the immune system changes with age (immunosenescence), including key features such as thymic involution, reduced immune cell function, and increased chronic inflammation (inflammageing).
  • Learner will be able to identify and describe strategies for supporting immune health as a key component of anti-aging and longevity. Participants should be able to recognize supporting immune health as a significant strategy for addressing age-related decline and promoting healthy ageing.
  • Learner will be able to describe the key supplements and their mechanisms of action in supporting immune function with age. Participants should be able to identify four main supplements and be able to outline their mechanisms of action.
