This online educational enduring material is designed for physicians and clinical staff. Its purpose is to bridge the gap between the medical knowledge and current practice with evidence based practice guidelines to achieve optimal patient outcomes through discussions and examinations of interesting, real world cases seen in the pediatrician’s office. Learning outcome: As a result of this activity, learners will identify at least one trauma-informed best practice for identifying children at risk for adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in the primary care setting that will enhance, validate, or cause a change in practice.
  • This session meets Texas Administrative Code requirements for 1 continuing education credit for Licensed Marriage and Family therapy, Licensed Professional Counselors, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.
