Description: Password: acvls - Provide up to date information on current treatment guidelines for the treatment of patients with acute stroke. Dear Colleagues: The 2016 Summa ACVLS educational module includes training on the NIH stroke scale that can lead to certification of the NH stroke scale. The NIH stroke scale training occurs at the end of the module. To receive credit and apply for the NIH certificate, you must record your answers on an official answer sheet. Summa Health faculty of the Department of Emergency Medicine can obtain an answer sheet from Barb Will (willb@summahealth.org) and the answer sheet must be returned to Barb Will. Other Summa Health faculty can obtain the score sheet from Kim Szymczak (szymczakk@summahealth.org) and returned to Kim Szymczak. All residents must complete the stoke certification using the NIH website below. For those who cannot obtain an official score sheet, NIH stroke certification can be obtained from the website below: http://NIHSS-English.TrainingCampus.net As of September 2016, the training and answer choices that appear in the 2016 Summa ACVLS module corresponds to PATIENT C on the NIH website. Please print your certificate for your records. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.
