KAFP is the largest medical specialty association in Kansas, representing exclusively family medicine. KAFP is a recipient of the KDHE Immunization Provider Enhancement grant. The goals of the grant: 1. Increase the number of KDHE enrolled vaccination providers. 2. KSKidsMAP is a pediatric mental health access program for physicians and clinicians across the state of Kansas who are treating children and adolescents in their practice for mental health concerns. The pediatric mental health team is comprised of a child and adolescent psychiatrist, child psychologist, pediatrician and a social worker. The goal of KSKidsMAP is to shore up workforce shortage especially in the area of the child and adolescent psychiatry and psychology. KSKidsMAP helps PCPs treat children and adolescents in their practice so children and adolescents get better faster.

Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital

MLMH is a Critical Access Hospital with an attached Rural Health Clinic. Our facility underwent a beautiful, 10.1 million dollar remodel in 2014. Our 25 bed CAH was once again awarded the rating of being in the Top 20 CAH's from the National Rural Health Association and provides emergency services, acute care, swing bed and long-term care along with an excellent team of nurses. We provide a full-service clinic with in house laboratory and radiology services. We have a fully staffed physical therapy and occupational therapy team as well as services in speech pathology. We provide a variety of procedures in surgery, both in the OR and the ambulatory setting. Twice a month we bring the cardiology team to the patient and three times a month we have an interventional pain management doctor in house. These services provide our community with the ease of seeing their specialist at their local hospital instead of having to travel. Our team is undergoing major changes where we continue to strive for excellence by providing quality health care to our community.
